Those guys at MakerBot (including Bre Prettis pictured above) certainly know how to have fun. In this amusing short video, they not only persuade their amazing and inexpensive Makerbot 3D printer to punch out a Darth Vader head (to illustrate their newly available Black ABS plastic material), but they also push their printer to the edge by running a tortuous mechanical sequence that plays Darth’s Imperial March theme. And you thought 3D printers couldn’t sing?
