London’s first Maker Faire took place yesterday (Elephant and Castle Mini Maker Faire).

The venue of the event is University of the Arts/London College of Communication, located not so far from birthplace of Michael Faraday.

Mini Maker Faire is a mid-sized event with about 90 exhibitors; activities range from design, electronics, robotics, 3d printing to 3d scanning. It is open to anyone and persons of any age and backgrounds will find something interesting here.

Children can engage in activities such as soldering own electronics, playing with various responsive instruments and building 3d puzzle.
