Have you ever wondered what it’s like to receive your first 3D printer? YouTube video producer Eyeisman (Tom Rosato) has captured the experience for you when he opened up his first 3D printer, a Pirate3D Buccaneer.
Caution: The video is a bit shaky, as Eyeisman used a head-mounted cam to capture the action.
What impresses us the most is the simplicity of the machine. In the now “olden days”, 3D printers were delivered as bags and bags of small parts that had to be assembled. Not so today, as you can see in the video. The experience is quite reminiscent of opening up a plain old 2D paper printer.
Except it makes things.
