Formlabs, makers of the Form 1 resin-based 3D printer, have released a significant update to their main software, Preform.
The update’s major feature involves the ability to perform operations on multiple selected objects. This means you can rotate, move and even scale several objects simultaneously. Previously, this would have been a very tedious task fraught with opportunity for error. Ok, you might not believe us, but check out the video on their page that shows how this now works.
In addition to the object manipulation improvements, they’ve also implemented “realistic materials-based image rendering”, which we suspect could be a precursor for a future announcement of additional colored resins. Ya think?
