We’re checking out a brand new service that launches today: 3D Printing Jobs.

It’s a job service much like any other, but it has a difference: it is solely focused on 3D printing and related industries, simplifying the process of seeking a job in the field. Often in other job services it can be tricky to separate the true 3D printing jobs from other industries, but this is not the case in 3D Printing Jobs. They say:

Contrary to general job portals, 3d-printing-jobs.com offers and aims at a substantially more specific target group, therefore avoiding divergence losses at low costs and extensive industry expertise.

The service is a new venture by Düsseldorf-based 3DPJ, who also host a German language site dedicated to rapid prototyping. The man behind 3D Printing Jobs is Christoph Trautmann, who explains:

We consider ourselves to be a service provider to the 3D Printing and Rapid Prototyping Industry at large. For this very reason we decided to launch a campaign, generating attention not only for our own cause, but the industry and all associated companies as a whole.

The enormous projected growth of the 3D printing industry requires qualified and well trained professionals to be allocated to leading and aspiring companies in the field. We hope that our campaign contributes to that end.

We think this is quite likely. Although 3D printing has grown substantially since we started publishing, there is a huge road ahead. If recent predictions of a USD$16B 3D printing market by 2018 come true, a portion of that figure will be salaries for people with the right skills. You could find a job in the industry on 3D Printing Jobs.
