Stefaan Motte

Stefaan Motte is the Vice President and General Manager of Materialise Software, and responsible for the general strategic management of that segment. Mr. Motte joined Materialise in April 2010, with an initial focus on growing the cranio-maxillofacial business. From 2012 onwards, Mr. Motte’s scope broadened to orthopedic applications as he took up the role of Director of the Clinical Business Unit. From 2015 onwards, Mr. Motte adopted his current role leading the Software business. Prior to joining Materialise, Mr. Motte was a software architect and project manager with Philips from 2001 to 2006. From 2006 to 2010, Mr. Motte worked with NXP Semiconductors as a competence center manager, and a member of the NXP Belgium management team. Mr. Motte holds a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from KU Leuven and a Master of Science degree in Applied Informatics from KU Leuven. In 2017 Mr. Motte was appointed Fellow of the Faculty of Science at KU Leuven.
