California-based customer service rep Grant Miller is one of many folks who moonlight as a 3D artisan when not doing their day job. Miller’s particular interest lies in “toys, statues and animations” and he’s been freelancing in this area for some time.

To produce a “portfolio piece” he drew upon his love for owls and designed this “Stelliform Owl”, which as you can see is designed to include interior illumination. Miller intends on funding this project through KickStarter, where you can back the project by selecting one of the donation levels. The rewards for funding range from an owl pendant, various sizes of Stelliform Owls, to a personalized large-sized owl.

If you’re interested in supporting Miller’s project, you’ll have to pledge your contribution before the project closes on March 22.
