PandaBot is on Kickstarter

Toronto-based Panda Robotics has finally launched their first personal 3D printer, the PandaBot, on Kickstarter. They're raising funds for their first big production run, a modest USD$50,000.
In their video, Panda Robotics' Design Engineer Liav Koren explains their goal is to produce a unit suitable for anyone to have on their desk. This means the PandaBot must not only look good, but be easy to use. One of their usage innovations includes an auto-calibrating print bed, the bane of many personal 3D printer owners.
At the rate of donations observed so far, it appears Panda will easily hit their fundraising target.
