NOBody 3D printed sculpture [Source: Cults]

This week’s selection is the NOBody sculpture by Cults contributor COLLECTICRAFT.

This is, as stated, an artistic sculpture. There’s no mechanical functions, no complex assembly, no embedded electronics. It’s just a print.

But what a design! It’s a seated figure that has no body! That’s where the sculpture’s title comes from.

Here’s the explanation of the design:

“Embark on an extraordinary journey into the realm of illusion and suspension with NObody. This captivating sculpture defies conventional expectations, inviting you to explore the boundaries of possibility in 3D printing.”

The sculpture is provided in a couple of parts, and can be obtained from Cults at a cost of US$6.72.

I found this design to be particularly innovative and attractive. It’s something you can’t stop looking at.

That’s what makes NOBody the Design of the Week.
