This week’s selection is the Delta Dart by Eclipson.
This is a 3D printed RC airplane, and a jet at that. But there’s something else that’s special about this aircraft: it uses thrust vectoring.
If you’re not familiar, thrust vectoring is an advanced method of steering. Basically, the exhaust port of the jet engine can be tilted, causing the airframe to turn accordingly. The feature allows the aircraft to perform much tighter turns than it could with conventional engines.
As far as I know, this is the only thrust vectoring 3D printable model that is generally available. Of course, there are likely military designs that use that tech, but you can’t print them.

Eclipson is a Spanish company that produces a series of RC aircraft models, all of which you can 3D print and assemble. And fly. Their site currently lists 40 options, which are all purchasable. Prices range from €18 (US$) to €65 (US$), and include all the STL/3MF files and instructions.
