NASA Seeks 3D Printing

NASA Seeks 3D PrintingNASA’s Langley Research Center has posted an invitation for solicitations for a “high resolution 3D printer”. At first we thought this device might be headed to outer space, ready to rapidly produce any missing spacecraft parts during deep space missions. Vendors, this competition closes on March 3rd 2008.
