We were contacted by designer and artist Jonathan Monaghan, who recently worked on the Digital Stone project in China. Jonathan normally works at much smaller scales, and much of his work involves use of rapid prototyping techniques.
We particularly like the way in which he combines lighting to emphasize the 3D structures. The work we’ve seen often seems to combine 3D printing with other techniques, resulting in rather unique and detailed designs.
