As we continue to follow mass disruptions due to COVID-19, we want to know how you’re being impacted.

We’ve been talking to companies, makers, and medical personnel for the last few weeks as the spread of coronavirus has seen thousands of people sickened and lives around the world affected. Obviously our focus is on the specific impact to the 3D printing communities, and we want to hear from you.

How are you being impacted? How is your business being impacted?

With many areas under stay-at-home orders, only essential businesses are running — many of these in manufacturing. Particularly with the supply shortage in hospitals for testing and protective equipment that aid in the fight against viral spread, 3D printing has been coming into play for fast-moving stop-gap supply issues.

Is your company producing personal protective equipment (PPE)? Are you working from home — or at all?

Grassroots campaigns are picking up as well, with well-meaning initiatives connecting volunteers with 3D printers to medical personnel in need of face shields and other makeable equipment. These initiatives are taking off worldwide.

Have you turned your personal 3D printer to use, or do you want to?

Or, somehow, has the pandemic not affected your business or 3D printing activity at all?

We’re asking this week and will share a look at your responses soon. Let us know in our Twitter polls, open through this coming Monday:
