No, this isn’t about a fabbulous new way to print 3D objects. It’s about the popular news service, “The Independent”, who have just published an introductory story on 3D printing. The piece is intended to tell general readers about this new technology and how it may affect our lives profoundly:

The extraordinary thing about this technology is that it turns all the values of mass production on their head. Would we get used to going round to other people’s homes for dinner and finding exactly the same knives and forks on the table as we have? But what would happen if you could digitally craft your own cutlery and print it off? Time will tell.

In a way, this is what Fabbaloo is all about. Nevertheless, we thank The Independent for promoting the technology to a wide audience.
